🔹 Main Responsibilities of a Dean:

• Managing faculty staff (professors, lecturers, researchers)

• Overseeing curriculum development and academic programs

• Making decisions about admissions, scholarships, and student progress

• Handling student issues such as academic misconduct, leaves of absence, and disciplinary actions

• Representing the faculty in meetings with the university’s senior leadership (e.g., Rector, Provost)

• The Dean of the Business School approved a new MBA course.

• If students have academic problems, they may ask to meet with the Dean.
