An Employment Record Book (also called a Labor Book or Work Book) is an official document that records an employee’s work history, including:

  • Dates of employment

  • Positions held

  • Transfers

  • Awards and disciplinary actions

  • Terminations and reasons

It serves as proof of employment history and is essential for calculating pension eligibility, verifying work experience, and confirming qualifications.

📋 Information included in the Employment Record Book:

  1. Personal information (full name, date of birth, profession)

  4. Date and reason for termination

  5. Employer’s seal and authorized signature


⚖️ Legal Basis in Uzbekistan:

  • Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2023 edition)

  • Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers on labor documentation

  • Internal labor policies of organizations

  • Since 2022, Uzbekistan has started introducing electronic employment books in many organizations.
